What you can create

A single Harv.ant scan of a property produces three deliverables for your listing:

đŸšļ

Walkthrough

Interactive first-person walk through the property. Buyers navigate room to room at their own pace.

🏠

Dollhouse view

Bird's-eye 3D model of the entire property. Instantly communicates layout and room relationships.

📐

Floor plan

Dimensioned 2D floor plan ready to attach to the listing or share with prospective buyers.

💡
No app needed for viewers Everything you share opens in a browser. Your clients leave comments and annotations directly in the browser — no download required.

Preparing the property

A well-prepared property makes a dramatically better walkthrough. Brief your vendor on these points before the scan day:

Scan on a different day to photography Property photography and Harv.ant scanning have different requirements. If possible, do the scan on a separate visit so you're not rushing either deliverable.

Scanning workflow

1

Start at the front entry

Begin your scan at the front door — this is where buyers will start their virtual walkthrough, so it needs to feel welcoming. Capture the entry hall from the doorway before moving in.

2

Scan room by room in logical order

Move through the property in the same order a buyer would during a physical inspection — entry, living, dining, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms. This creates a natural flow in the walkthrough experience.

3

Capture connecting spaces

Hallways, stairwells and transition spaces are important — they're how Harv.ant connects rooms into a coherent floor plan. Give each connecting space its own scan pass, don't just rush through them.

4

Include outdoor areas

Scan the rear garden, alfresco, balcony and garage separately. These are selling points — don't skip them. Use the exterior scanning mode for large outdoor areas.

5

Capture panoramic positions

In each main room, find the best vantage point — usually a corner or the centre — and do a slow 360° sweep from that position. These become the panoramic view nodes in the walkthrough.

6

Generate and review

Once scanning is complete, tap Generate walkthrough. Processing takes a few minutes. Review the dollhouse view first to check the floor plan looks correct, then walk through each room to check for gaps before sharing.

Sharing with clients

Generating a share link

Tap Share on any completed project to generate a link. The link opens a full browser-based walkthrough — no app, no login required for the viewer.

Client comments

Buyers and clients can leave comments and annotations directly in the browser walkthrough. You'll receive a notification and can respond or action items from within Harv.ant. This replaces the back-and-forth of emailing annotated screenshots.

Embedding in your listing

Harv.ant walkthroughs can be embedded directly into your agency website or real estate portal listing using the embed code found in Share → Embed. The embedded player is responsive and works on all devices.

💡
Use the floor plan as a listing attachment Export the dimensioned floor plan as a PDF from Export → Floor plan PDF and attach it to your online listing. Buyers consistently rate dimensioned floor plans as one of the most valued listing assets.
